The Market Report You Haven’t Read Yet, part 4, Favorites
There has to be one last post about some of the things I missed in the last three posts. (Yes, I could go on more, but I think this is enough.)
First, my favorite greeting card.
I think I need a few of these. It sums up so many situations perfectly! It is by 1 Canoe 2, one of Moda’s new designers.
Second, is my favorite chicken.
This was in the Alexander Henry booth. This picture is in honor of a friend of mine who is now the proud mother of several chickens and two ducks. She even painted a quilt block on their chicken coop because she is cool like that.
Next, was my favorite prom. This was the Moda dinner. I got a pink tiara to take home to my littlest daughter.
This shirt is my favorite souvenir. How could it not be!
Last, my new favorite BBQ place. The Market Bar-B-Que in downtown Minneapolis.
It was established in 1946, and it looked as though the decorations haven’t changed since then. The walls were full of memorabilia. There was always more to look at. I liked these ladies who I am sure are, or were, famous. I don’t know them.
Machelle and I had a pulled pork sandwich with slaw that was the best I have ever tasted and the biggest onion rings I have ever seen. As we were leaving, I asked one of the workers which picture was his favorite. He said it was the one of Jay Leno (that I hadn’t seen) and proceeded to tell us how it’s Jay’s favorite place to get ribs and every year Jay would fly the owner out to his show. It was some fun trivia about a place that we already decided that we loved!
I loved Spring Market in Minneapolis, and I can’t wait to go back again!
